New Journey Residence offers flexible models of supported accommodation to meet the diverse needs of care leavers aged 16–17:Shared Living (Peridot View): Accommodating up to three young people at any one time, were mutual support and peer relationships.Solo placements: Considered as part of our expansion programme,offering a higher level of independence with personalised support.Step-down and Outreach support: Enabling young people to move onto independent living while continuing to receive guidance and practical assistance from our staff team.This structure ensures flexibility in meeting changing needs and provides continuity of support as young people progress on their journey to adulthood.
New Journey Residence supports care leavers aged 16–17 who may present with a range of complex needs and life experiences. This includes those preparing for
independence, young people who have experienced trauma or neglect, and those who may have emotional or behavioral challenges.
We promote inclusion and equality, providing support regardless of gender,ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or disability. Instead, we take pride in
creating an environment where diversity is respected and celebrated.
Exclusions: Placement cannot be accepted if the risks presented cannot be safely managed within a supported accommodation setting - for example, where secure
care or intensive medical provision is required.
