With 15 years of diverse experience in care settings for children and young people, I have developed a strong foundation in supporting those from various backgrounds. My journey includes nine years in Children Residential Homes and three years in supported accommodation for young people under Deprivation ofLiberty Safeguards (DoLS), working closely with individuals and families in both group and one-to-one settings.
My team are well-versed in navigating organisational policies and boundaries, ensuring legal compliance, confidentiality, and a consistently non-judgemental approach. These principles allow us to see each person without bias, focusing on their unique needs and experiences.
This dedication to a person-centred approach is at the heart of our practice, empowering each individual toprogress at their own pace. We have chosen the theme of gemstones to name our homes because we believe every child and young person is a unique and rare treasure. Like gemstones, you hold incredible value andbeauty, and our aim is to keep that brilliance shining as we journey into the future together.
